5 Tips On How To Stress-Less During Chicago's Mayoral Elections!

As we all know, this is a turning point in Chicago's upcoming Mayoral elections. Some are following the updates and unfortunately some aren't even interested. There are at least 2 subjects that tend to be a high level of stress and that's 'polictics and religion'.

Everyone seems to think their candidate is The One. So the discussions usually start gearing up to high speed. During this election, we've view the ad campaigns. Some are posititve and some are negative. Just fyi, according to the Rasmussen Report about 77% of the mainstream voters think the country is going in the wrong direction.

Now without having to get too deep into polictics and getting stressed out writing the article, Profound Touch Mobile Spa would like to provide 5 simple tips on how to stress-less during the Chicago Mayoral elections:

1)Monitor your exlosure: I'm not saying to totally avoid the coverage of the elections, just limit your intake.

2)Get Involved: Channel that aniexty by volunteering during the campaigns. This way it will feel as if you had a voice.

3)Have a different prospective: As stated previously, each candidate has positive and negative ads. Form your own opinion on who you think will best respresent what you stand for.

4)Avoid Conflict: Everyone feels there candidate is the One. Just know that it's ok to agree to disagree.

5)Adopt a Stress Management Regimen: Anytime there's discussion on life changing incidents, there's always a high level of stress. You can only control what YOU can control. We suggest adopting the following on a regular basis: Exercise (2-3 times a week); Meditation (5-10 minutes in the am/pm); massages (huge stress reliever under any stressful circumstances); and breathing and stretch sessions.
